Description |
This water distribution reservoir was among the first water supply facilities established in the Daegu region. Daebong Water Reservoir I was built at the foot of Sudosan Mountain in 1918. And due to the increasing demand for water, Daebong Water Reservoir II was built in 1925. Daebong I is a cylindrical reinforced concrete structure with 11 circular windows, each decorated with a curved frame, installed at equidistant intervals. Various facilities, including an elaborately decorated junction well made of red brick and intricately fabricated granite, a chlorine injection unit, and a small dome-shaped building, are well preserved at the site. |
