    Situated along Apsansunhwandoro and founded in 1995, the Nambu Library is one of the most recently opened libraries in downtown Daegu. The library boasts clean and convenient facilities, as well as a scenic mountain environment and peaceful atmosphere, which attract many people to the library. Featuring a public reading room, reference library, digital library, periodicals room, children’s reading room, lecture room, pottery room, meeting room, audiovisual room, and sports hall, the Nambu Library not only leads the reading culture of Namgu but also enables area residents to enjoy various leisure activities.

    The Daegu National University of Education Museum proudly exhibits a wide range of textbooks from the Joseon Era to the modern age. Also on display are farming and weaving equipment as well as other items that offer a glimpse into the lives of ancient Koreans. The museum was opened in 1975 and currently owns some 4,800 artifacts
